Product Overview
Some markets will not accept natural-cleaned sesame at 98–99% purity. Japanese and Korean importers, European bakery ingredient suppliers and premium Gulf tahini producers specify 99.5% purity or better, uniform colour and strict microbiological and residue limits. Our Sortex-Cleaned Premium Sesame Seeds are processed to that standard.
After primary cleaning and drying, seed is passed through gravity separators to remove stones and immature seed, then through optical colour sorters that eject black, dark and discoloured seeds and remaining foreign particles. The result is a bright, uniform whitish seed with purity of 99.5% or higher. Every lot is tested by an accredited laboratory for moisture, oil, FFA, aflatoxin and — for markets that require them — Salmonella and pesticide residues, and we welcome your appointed inspector at sampling and loading.
