Brown & Mixed Sesame Seeds
High-oil brown and mixed-colour sesame from Nigeria's northern belt — Kano, Jigawa, Katsina and Gombe — supplied in volume to oil crushers, refiners and traders who buy on oil content and price rather than colour.
Product Overview
The largest volumes of Nigerian sesame are not the premium white seed but the brown and mixed-colour seed grown across Kano, Jigawa, Katsina, Gombe, Bauchi and Yobe. Darker in colour and often slightly higher in oil, it is the preferred raw material for sesame-oil crushers and refiners in China, India, Turkey and elsewhere, where colour is irrelevant and oil yield per tonne is everything.
We supply Brown & Mixed Sesame Seeds as a cleaned, dried, export-graded product rather than farm-gate quality: dust, stones, stems and immature seeds are removed on our cleaning line to the purity in your contract, moisture is brought to the export limit, and oil content and free fatty acid are confirmed by laboratory before shipment. For crushers running continuous programmes we offer scheduled shipments across the season with fixed or formula pricing.
