Hulled Sesame Seeds
Dehulled Nigerian white sesame — the outer hull removed to give a pearl-white, mild-tasting seed with very low bitterness and oxalate — for bakery toppings, tahini, hummus and ready-to-eat applications where appearance and flavour matter most.
Product Overview
Hulling removes the thin outer seed coat of natural white sesame, leaving a pearl-white kernel that is milder in taste, lower in oxalates and visibly cleaner on a bun or in a tahini jar. Buyers who do not operate their own hulling plant increasingly ask origin suppliers for hulled seed so that it can go straight into production on arrival.
Our Hulled Sesame Seeds are processed to order from selected natural white sesame. Seed is cleaned and colour-sorted, hulled, dried back to export moisture and re-sorted to remove any remaining hull or off-colour kernels, then packed in lined bags. Because hulled seed is a finished food ingredient, laboratory testing covers microbiology (Salmonella, E. coli, total plate count) as well as moisture, FFA, aflatoxin and residues.
